Emojis that describe the week

Photo of the Week……
Goes to this vintage hand painted egg cup I discovered while thrifting at EastBrook Flea Market and Antique Mall (Price $10.00 + tax = $11) I have great plans for this egg cup and foresee a very boujee breakfast in the near future!
It’s giving Sunday Brunch for One!
I can see myself now awakening to the morning sunlight and gleefully trotting into the kitchen to use my egg cooker that makes the perfect soft boiled egg. This egg will be complemented with the finest toast that will play the role of what us boujee women who eat egg from cups refer to as—-egg soldiers! I invite you to come back to see a behind of the scenes of this “Sunday Brunch for One.”
What I Spent:
For the record these are specific or special purchases I feel that are due recognition…
Brin’s Wings $17.90
The way Brin’s Wings have had me in a choke hold since that Thursday evening where I sang karaoke (Beyonce of course!) circa Sept. 2022 is insane!
Steal My Order:
Mild Lemon Pepper
Xtra Lemon Pepper Sprinkles
Crinkle Fries
Ranch Dressing
*Add onto your order the Q-Dog Hotdog if ya feeling spicy!
ABC Select Spirits $42.39
Cognac.
The word is a complete sentence; just like if you offered me some.
YES.
This bottle will last typically a good month or two. I prefer brown liquor as a first choice.
It’s more affordable to pour up at home and saves me the expense when I want a nice drinky-drink!
*SN* If you purchase alcohol on a frequent basis—-don’t forget to include that within your budget. Quality alcohol purchases add up quickly and are a sneaky way of blowing your budget.
If you enjoy wine consider joining a wine club to save money or purchasing one serve bottles so as to reduce cost and waste.
Cognac of Choice:
Revanche
LabCorp was at it again, but this time I paid their money upfront! $28.00
*Watch the video here at (10:47) I share how they tried to send me to collections for an unpaid medical bill!
What I Returned
These knobs from Hobby Lobby that cost a whopping $5.99 a piece (more about that in a minute) Total Saved $10.98
So I have this beautiful Martha Stewart Craft Desk I snagged from an estate sale several years ago. It’s one of my fav pieces of furniture that I own.
*SN: Estate sales are a great place to find unique and quality pieces….especially if anything good is still hanging around on the last day where things are typically 1/2 off the original price!
I was indecisive between the two pieces and decided to purchase both to see which pair fit best. The ones I returned were too glam and didn’t fit the pre-drilled holes. The rustic butterflies ended up being the perfect selection due to their rustic coating. They fit perfectly with the wear-and-tear of my desk. This mini diy project was quick and easy that now brings a new excitement to an old treasure!
Before
After
I sadly said goodbye to these two sweaters that I returned to Rent the Runway
