When it’s time to change your relationship with money, get a financial accountability partner who gets it.*
I know it can be tough: trying to successfully manage your home, career, finances, and be a devoted Wife and Mother. Maybe you’re busy being a Superwoman; out here making a name for yourself whilst doing “all the things” as you tend to your growing little flower(s) [your baby(ies)] on your own as a Single-Mother. Perhaps you’re a Single-Woman out here riding solo trying to make ends meet and maintain your peace as you navigate one season to next. Due to unforeseen life events, I’m no longer a wife. However, I’m proud to wear my cape as a Superwoman and Single-Mother with an amazing little flower (my daughter) who I have the privilege of supporting as she grows through life.
I understand how quickly life events can affect your mental health and finances. Suddenly it becomes really scary to look at the numbers. Checking your bank and credit card statements ignites fatigue, headache, and a knot in your stomach.
It doesn’t always have to be that way. You can keep your anxiety under control when it comes to money!
It’s an honor to hold the title as Mommy to my beautiful toddler who keeps me on my toes, at the store for PopTarts, and wishing time would slow down! I’m also a full-time Corporate Accountant by day; so numbers are basically life!
When I’m not running numbers I’m engaging in spiritual activities, spending time with family, on an adventure, singing along to Beyonce, riding high in my Chevy, being a foodie, tackling my never-ending laundry pile, and navigating through life’s imperfect seasons with gratitude.
Time to reveal a few of my obsessions. See anything we have in common?
"Step into the extraordinary season of my life, where amid the chaos of a global pandemic, I welcomed my first child, sealed the deal on my dream vehicle, bid adieu to a home, navigated the storm of divorce, and ascended to a luxurious high-rise in Midtown Atlanta. "Amidst all these changes and transformations, I boldly quit my job and stepped into entrepreneurship, navigating a path from anxiety to confidence. This is not just a story—it's a narrative woven with seasons of change, sprinkled with chaos, tempered by confidence, and ultimately, a testament to the resilience that defines my journey.
I AM DEANNA MITCHELL!”
"I experienced so many life events quickly, gaining stability amidst life's chaos. I strategically relocated back to my hometown in Alabama, setting myself up financially to spend the first year of my daughter Eden's life off work. I learned to juggle my new business, obtained a financial certification, and landed a finance role within a new industry. I leveraged my experiences to make informed financial decisions, all while cherishing the privilege of breastfeeding during these transformative seasons. This journey proves that, even in the face of change, financial empowerment is within reach for single, divorced mothers."
"After an extended full-time parenting career break and settling into relocating to my hometown, venturing into a new industry became more manageable with the lessons learned from facing challenges. It wasn't just about getting by; it was about thriving in every financial season. Armed with my bookkeeping certification and becoming a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I equipped myself with new skills and credentials. Utilizing these, I transitioned from a contract to a salaried position, negotiating a salary that met the needs of both my daughter and me during this exciting new financial chapter."
"Thriving through financial changes is a journey I intimately understand as a single mother who has faced divorce, pursued education, and sought career advancement. I've navigated the twists of single parenthood while managing the demands of school and the challenges of career growth. In the midst of these shifts, I birthed the idea of All Seasons Finance—a haven for single mothers like myself. This platform is designed to offer not just advice, but companionship through relatable stories, financial literacy education tailored to our unique experiences, and a wealth of resources to help us not only survive but thrive in every season of our financial lives. All Seasons Finance is more than a resource; it's a supportive community, guiding single mothers through the complexities of finance, career, and personal growth with understanding, empathy, and empowerment."
"Today, in a new chapter and season of life, my journey stands as a testament to conquering genuine financial challenges. Thriving after relocation and immersing myself in a new industry, my story is a narrative of resilience, growth, and financial empowerment. It is my sincere desire that this journey serves as an interchange of value, particularly for other women facing similar paths. I am immensely grateful for the unwavering love of Jehovah God, the support of my family, spiritual brothers + sisters, close friends, business colleagues, and all those who have cheered me on in this new season of life. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your endless encouragement."
